Information technology's a 2007 Accord. Great mechanical and physical condition, with the exception of a rust bubble forming on the rear left wheel well. It's visible but hasn't got extremely ugly or actually visible yet. Is it worth getting it fixed if i want to sell privately?

I figure if i trade information technology in, I will get screwed either manner and so I wouldn't carp fixing information technology.

Inside the wheel well? At near, do a quick sand and hit information technology with some rust transformer spray paint.

Information technology is almost a certainty that it will price you more to repair the rust damage than you would recoup in selling price.

I wouldn't even consider it.

I wonder if anybody that preaches full disclosure actually does it when selling stuff.

I wonder if everyone that preaches full disclosure really does information technology when selling stuff.
honestly i'll probably tell the buyer when they ask virtually the trunk. I already got the hood replaced when a deer striking me going like 15 mph about 6month after i bought the machine. the rust spot on the wheel well did indeed rust through, i'll post pics today. I already did the beginning two prep steps yesterday. just hoping it won't spread whatsoever more. interior and mechanically are immaculate for a 130K car.

i really dont want a buyer to exist pissed off at me or dissatisfied with the car

Lying if asked is something I won't do. Merely who is to say if they'll ask. Hell, I sold a car once without a exam bulldoze!

I wouldn't. Just let them look the car over, tell them well-nigh maintenance you've done but I wouldn't indicate out pocket-sized flaws.

When I traded in my Maxima I told them NOTHING nigh the machine other than what I wanted for it. Information technology needed 2 tires and it needed a steering rack merely I certain as hell wasn't going to point that out to them.

No. Don't touch it either. The moment you start picking at it one-half the quarter panel paint volition autumn off. Just get information technology sold.

Caveat Emptor. If a buyer asks questions I will answer honestly but it'south up to them to practise their own due dilligence.

I wouldn't. Simply let them expect the automobile over, tell them almost maintenance you lot've done simply I wouldn't bespeak out modest flaws.

When I traded in my Maxima I told them Zip about the car other than what I wanted for it. Information technology needed 2 tires and it needed a steering rack but I certain as hell wasn't going to point that out to them.

Well trade in is completely different IMHO. Do they even ask? I've only traded in a car once and it was pristine (and only a few years old) so there wasn't a question of status.
